在儒家思想影响下，主流音乐一直发挥着政治教化功能，这种音乐教化功能强调了音乐对个人道德修养和促进社会和谐发展的积极作用，对当代音乐创作有一定的参考价值和启示作用。%Under the influence of Confucianism, music had long been developed as a tool of educative management, so it was a constrained process. Yet, this process of development stresses the contribution of art toward moral cultivation and harmonious development of the society, which provides much inspiration for modem music.
