It not only successfully solved the three major problems in semantics in the history of philosophy, but also had a tremendous impact on logic and philosophy. This paper focuses on the general overview of the origin of this theory in terms of theoretical basis of the theory, three difficult problems in semantics, theoretical content and solution of these three difficuhies. Besides, it points out the significance of the theory.
