This paper revealed such problems as the present teaching contents unable to stimulate students, the performance incapable of mobilizing the players, and the assessment modes highlighting the summative score instead of the formative evaluation. It, therefore, proposed the application of job design theory, expectancy theory and reinforcement theory in the course of basketball education to improve the performance of basketball instruction.%高职院校在篮球体育课程教学激励中存在着体育教学内容设计不能调动学生的积极性、未能对学生在篮球运动学习过程中取得的成绩及时进行激励、考核方法过于重视考试结果而忽视学习过程三个方面问题。文章认为,可以通过将工作设计理论、期望理论和强化理论应用到高职院校篮球体育教学中,改善高职院校篮球体育教学的绩效。
