汉英第三人称代词使用差异成因探究

摘要

学界早已注意到汉英在第三人称代词使用上的差异，并提出了一定的理论解释。事实上，汉英在第三人称代词使用上的差异实为汉英在语篇回指衔接手段上差异之表现。而之所以在语篇回指衔接手段上存在差异，其根源在于语言的自我代偿机制。因此，汉英在第三人称代词使用上的差异，正是语言自我代偿机制制约和调适的结果。%The academic circle has already noted the difference of the third-person pronouns’usages between Chinese and English.And some theoretical interpretations have been given.As a matter of fact,the difference of the third-person pro-nouns’usages is the one in cohesive devices of discourse anaphors.The reason why there exists difference of such devices lies in the languages’self-compensating mechanism.Accordingly,the difference of the third-person pronouns between Chinese and English is just the consequence of restriction and adjustment of the languages’self-compensating mechanism.
