“文”与中国古典“新诗”派的价值取向

     

摘要

The school of classical poetry in modern China was such a poet community that straddled the old poetry and the new one. People belonging to this school had their own vision of new poetry,which was deeply influenced by the traditional notion of wen 文. They attempted to build a general form for new poetry according to the stylistic principle of requiring poems to meet the prosodic patterns based on the syllable. Taking the ancient literature as the criteria,they severely criticized the new vernacular poetry. On this basis,they formed their outlook on poetry which was deeply rooted in traditional Chinese culture and can even be regarded as sort of poetic xenophobia. The tradition of wen was actually a double-edged sword,which opened the door and window leading to the tradition but at the same time blocked the road to the future. In this sense,the construction of new poetry needs a new synthesis of inheritance and transcendence of the tradition.%现代古典诗派是介乎新旧之间的诗人群落。他们不乏自己的“新诗”愿景,但这种愿景深受古典“文”传统的制约:以“音节”为文体规训,追求“新诗”的普遍形式;以“文字型文学”为标准,批评“语言型文学”白话新诗等,并由此形成了其强烈的文化本位观念、强固的“中文”意识以及诗学排外心理。“文”传统是一柄双刃剑,它在打开传统门窗的同时,也阻塞了通往未来的道路。新诗建构需要一次继承传统而又超越传统的新综合。
