《牛津高阶英汉双解词典》第七版与第六版同义词表达对比分析

摘要

The seventh edition of Oxford Advanced Learner＇s English-Chinese Dictionary is compiled and translated based on Oxford Advanced Learner＇s Dictionary published in 2005.Compared to its sixth edition published in 2004,the seventh edition highlights the practicability of the learner＇s dictionary.This paper compares the synonyms that are showed in both the seventh edition and sixth edition of OALECD.It takes the entries ＂color＂ and ＂love＂ as examples to explain that the seventh edition of OALECD is compiled from the user＇s perspective which is much more practical.%《牛津高阶英汉双解词典》第七版以2005年的原文版《牛津高阶英语学习词典》为底本编译而成,较之于2004年出版的第六版,更凸显学习词典的实用性。本文通过对比OALECD两个版本的同义词表达,分别以＂colour＂和＂love＂两词的同义词辨析为例,来说明从使用者——二语习得者的角度出发编纂的第七版双语词典其实用性更强。
