方言对英语学习产生的迁移作用——以东北方言为例

摘要

以东北方言为例探讨方言对中国英语学习者英语学习产生的迁移作用。通过实证研究发现：10位受试者共犯语音语调类错误143例，其中121例具有明显的东北方言特征，即：平翘舌不分、改换r声母、以e代。和调值不到位，占语音语调类错误总量的85％。其中，以e代替o的错误最多，另外有明显的以其他音替换r音的倾向。总之，东北方言对本研究受试者的英语语音语调确实存在影响，有明显迁移作用。%This paper sets north-eastern dialect as an example to detect the transfer effect of dialect on English pronunciation learning. The empirical study has found： among the 143 pronunciation errors made by the 10 subjects, 121 manifests obvious north-east dialect characteris- tics, i.e. , mixing retroflexs with ir-retroflexs, replacing r with other sounds, replacing o with e, and undershoot of tone values, which account for 85% of all the pronunciation mistakes. In conclusion, north-eastern dialect did transfer the subjects＇ pronunciation of English.
