鲁迅小说莱尔译本的译者声音研究

摘要

The translator's voice is an important theory in studying narrative features of translated texts. An overt presence of the translator's voice can be detected in William Lyell's translation of Lu Xun's Novellas"Diary of a Madman and Other Stories",mainly from the introduction to the translation and the translator's notes on the paratextual level, and the deviation from the original narrative tense and the explicitation of implied information on the textual level. The translator's voice on these two levels not only elaborates the translator's views on translation and readers, and conveys the rich cultural connotation of the original, but also shortens the distance between the stories and readers, and represents the implica-tion of the original, thus contributing greatly to the success of the translation.%译者声音理论是研究译文叙事的一个重要方面.在鲁迅小说的莱尔译本"Diary of a Madman and Other Stories"中,存在着译者声音凸显的现象,主要表现为副文本层面的导言和注释及文本内层面的译文叙事时态的偏离和原文含蓄信息的显化.这两个层面的译者声音显现不但阐明了译者的翻译观和读者观,尽量传达了原文丰富的文化信息,而且还拉近了故事与读者的距离,充分再现了原文的含义,对于该译本的成功起到了重要作用.
