从半句式翻译题看语法衔接

摘要

大学英语四级考试改革后，新增的半句式汉译英题对考生提出了新的要求。以Halliday和Hasan的语法衔接分类为基础，并参照Hoey的定义，通过大量半句式翻译题的分析，指出翻译时，要注意分析原文的衔接手段，然后采取相应的翻译策略，以保持译文的连贯。%After the reform of CET-4, the newly added Chinese-English translation of part of the whole sentence propounds new requirements for examinees. This paper analyzed a lot of Chinese-English translation of part of the whole sentence on the basis of Halliday and Hasan＇s elassification of grammatical cohesion,referring to Hoey＇s opinion on cohesion. The author states that when dealing with this new question type of translation, a translator should focus on analyzing the cohesion of the original text, and apply appropriate translation strategy in reestablishing textual coherence in target language.
