一组亚洲国家英语学习者词典使用策略的实证性报告

摘要

This article is an empirical report of a project conducted with a group of Asian English learners in the International College of Payap University of Thailand, aiming at investigating the dictionary use strategies of English learners at different language levels in non-English speaking countries. The study employs research methodologies such as tasks, introspection, and interview to examine the situation of dictionary use of the target group, and explores the relationship of the language development and the dictionary use strategies. It also discusses the positive effect the effective dictionary strategies have on English learning.%本文是笔者在泰国清迈西北大学国际学院就词典使用策略对一组亚洲国家英语学习者进行的一个小型课题的实证性报告,该课题结合任务法、内省法、访谈法等研究手段对非英语国家不同语言层次的英语学习者使用词典的情况进行了调查,探讨了语言水平的发展与词典使用策略的关系,阐述了有效的词典使用策略对英语学习产生的互动作用和积极意义.
