Basically the previous studies thought the different semantics of＂太＂is related with the adjectives.But the meaning of ＂太＂is closely related with the sentence structure and the semantic relations between former and latter sentences.In the exclamatory＂太A了＂and＂太A了,＋ the additional remarks＂,＂太＂always means a high degree of adjectives.And in the ＂baseline ＋ 太A了＂and ＂太A了,＋ results＂,＂太＂always expresses what is excessive and inappropriate.In the ＂太A了 ＂structure,the tone of ＂太A了 ＂ depends on the characteristics of adjectives,but the semantics of ＂太＂ depends on the sentence structure and the semantic relations between former and latter sentences.%以往的研究基本赞同＂太＂的不同语义与形容词特征有关,但＂太＂语义选择与构句、前后句的语义关系也有密切联系。在感叹句＂太A了!＂和＂太A了,＋补充说明＂这两个句式中,＂太＂往往表示形容词程度很高;在＂基准＋太A了＂和＂太A了,＋结果＂这两个句式中,＂太＂则往往表示过分和不合适。在＂太A了＂结构中,＂太A了＂的语气取决于形容词的特点,而＂太＂的语义则取决于构句及前后句的语义关系。
