培养君子公民

JunziistheimageofpeopletobecultivatedintraditionalChineseeducation,andcitizenis thetargetofmodernChineseeducation.Ontheonehand,China’smoderneducationshouldabsorbthe basicconsensusofhumancivilizationandbaseitselfonthecultivationofmoderncitizens;ontheother hand,itshouldinherittheChinesenation’sJunzieducationthoughtdeeplyembeddedintheFourBooks, abidebyChina’spositionandhighlightChina’sstyle.Thenewimagecreatedbythecombinationof"Jun-zi"and"citizen"is"Junzi-Citizen".Thisnewimageseekstointegrate"self-cultivation-basedtraditionalre-sponsibilityethics"and "freedom-basedmodernrightsmorality".Inthemostfundamentalsense,"Junzi-Citizen"istheimageofpeoplewhosemainconnotationisbenevolenceandfreedom.TrainingJunzi-Citizen isnotonlynecessaryandpossible,butalsorealistic.China'seducationshouldconsciouslytakethecultiva-tionof"Junzi-Citizen"asitsduty.%君子是我国传统教育所要培养的人之形象,公民是我国现代教育的目标定位.我国现代教育一方面要吸纳人类文明的基本共识,立足现代公民的培养;另一方面则要继承深蕴在《四书》中的中华民族的君子教育思想,恪守中国立场,凸显中国风范."君子"与"公民"的结合而产生的新形象就是"君子公民".这一新形象力图把"修身为本的传统责任伦理"和"自由为本的现代权利道德"融贯为一体.在最为根本的意义上,"君子公民"就是以仁和自由为主要内涵的人之形象.培养君子公民不仅具有必要性和可能性,而且具有现实性.中国教育应自觉地以培养君子公民为己任.
