The philosophical thought of Qi Ben theory provides a strong theoretical support for research on its aesthetic thought. The study of Zhang Zai’s aesthetic thought has rich theoretical value in interpreting the traditional Confucian aesthetic thoughts, construting the theory of harmony between man and nature, and promoting the construction of neo-Confucianist aesthetics in Song Dynasty. There is still a lot of academic space for the study of Zhang Zai’s aesthetic thoughts, which can be studied from the aspects of "facet" (the overall construction of his aesthetic thought system),"point" (compared with the two-way aesthetic thought) and "line" (the contemporary enlightenment of his aesthetic thought), so as to provide a more systematic and in-depth interpretation system for Zhang Zai's aesthetic thought.
