面子理论视角下的委婉语

Face is the public self-image that every member in the society wants to win.Euphemism is polite language and is a good way to protect face in social communication.This essay analyses the use of euphemism from the perspective of Face Theory,including indirect speech act,humor,interrogative sentences and so on.%面子是每个社会成员意欲为自己挣得的那种在公众中的＂个人形象＂。委婉语是礼貌化了的语言,是社会交往中维护面子的极好途径。本文分析了面子理论视角下的委婉语运用及其实现方式,包括间接言语行为、幽默和疑问句式的选择等。
