Prototype categorization theory,as the core theory in cognitive linguistics,has been widely used in the other fields of linguistics.The different translations of the term of ＂extradosed bridge＂ and the cognizance process of its Chinese translations enrich the view of prototype translation.%原型范畴理论作为认知语言学中的核心理论,已被广泛用于语言学其他领域的研究。土木专业术语＂Extradosed Bridge＂存在不同的汉译,其对应中文翻译的认定过程进一步丰富原型翻译观。
