During the process of learning a second language,the knowledge of mother tongue will influence the understanding of the second language acquisition.According to the theory of language transfer,this paper makes a simple analysis of the negative transfer of mother tongue about the Chinese language learner in learning English from the following aspect: pronunciation,grammar,and vocabulary.This paper also supplies some suggestions about how to reduce the negative influence of negative transfer in order to improve the quality of English instruction%在第二语言学习过程中,学习者的母语知识会对第二语言学习产生影响。本文根据语言迁移理论,对中国学习者在英语学习过程中所出现的语音、词汇、语法方面母语负迁移现象作简单分析,并提出英语教学中改善母语负迁移现象的建议,将母语负迁移的不利影响降到最低,从而提高教学质量。
