教育史研究方法多种多样，目前跨学科研究是教育史研究的趋势。本文有关英语教育历史现状的研究便是这样的跨学科研究的尝试。通过研究，笔者发现目前国内外对英语教育史的研究并不全面，只是停留在研究教学史的层面。英语语言教育的发展及其推开的政策与当时当代的政治、经济状况有着密切的联系，了解这一联系，可以帮助我们借鉴古今中外的英语教育经验，解读当下的英语教育政策，清楚未来英语教育该的发展方向。最近，关于英语教育改革在中国如火如荼，英语教育在中国是否该弱化，笔者希望通过教育政治学、教育生态学以及新文化史学的理论，深层次地对其进行探讨，并希望为未来英语从业教师树立信念和信心。%Interdisciplinary studies is the trend of educational history though there are amount of educational research methods. And the studies the English educational history is a trial and exploration of this interdisciplinary studies. The writer found that the studies of English educational history were not comprehensive by studying both domestic and aboard research status, and it was only a teaching method research. The open policy of English education development has close connection with contemporary policy and economic status. Understanding this connection will help us to learn the English education experience from the ancient and modern in china and abroad, read the change of present English education policy and forecast the prospective tendency of future English education. At present, the English education reform is already in the works. Whether or not weakening the English educa-tion in China, the writer discusses this based on the theories of educational politics, ecology of education and new culture history. And the writer also hopes to establish faith and confidence for the future English teachers.
