通过组织某大学预防医学专业本科生参与眼科"学龄期儿童近视眼的防治筛查"的流行病学调研课题,探索预防医学专业学生临床教育阶段的教育方式.实践表明,预防医学专业学生在临床教育阶段,参与和开展临床流行病学的实践活动,可以使学生们尽快树立"预防为主"的专业理念,体会临床学习的意义,提高学生的自主学习能力和实践操作能力,进而为从临床医学到预防医学的衔接奠定基础,是一项值得推广的人才培养模式.%This study explored the way to educate five-year Preventive medical students by organizing an epidemi-ological research named "The screening and control of myopia in school children" during the stage of clinical practice. This activity showed that for the Preventive medical students during the stage of clinical education, participating and developing clinical epidemiology, can help the student establish the professional concept of "prevention first", understand the significance of the clinical study, improve students' self-learning ability and operational capacity, and then lay the foundation of the connection between clinical medicine and preventive medicine. It is a training model which is worthy of spreading.
