论中国古代的轴心时代

摘要

Since Jaspers Theory on Axis Period has been introduced into China , it was accepted by many scholars , at the same time some scholars expressed their opposition.This raises one question: how should we understand the validity of this theory in China? In this paper , through the analysis of the source and flow of many thinkers and philosophers in the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States periods , and the concrete expounding for the“Taoist strategy cleft for the world”, author pointed out the axial age��s development story in China's ancient history.%周室东迁，因王室衰落而使官学解体，私学渐兴，导致诸子兴起的多元学术格局，形成“道术为天下裂”的春秋战国轴心时代。战国中期，孟子力辟杨、墨二派，维护孔子以来儒家的礼乐仁义思想体系。稍后的庄子，以深邃思想对其时各派宗旨得失进行剖析，尤其提出内圣外王之道，考量诸子学说之是非长短。战国末期的荀子，对诸子的学术批判受到庄子的影响，亦颇可见法家痕迹，突出集中在治道功效的大小有无上；荀子以对诸子思想进行批判和清算的角度，先秦人著鞭，以自己的方式预告了轴心时代的终结。
