吉里·列维翻译理论指导下《海浪》（节选）翻译实践报告

摘要

本文是一篇英汉译笔译实践报告，笔者以《海浪》一书的翻译为基础，结合吉里·列维的翻译理论，介绍了此次翻译任务和翻译过程，分析总结翻译过程中所遇到的问题和难点。本文运用列维翻译理论当中的三个主要论点—界定性指令与选择性指令、极大极小策略和错觉理论，主要探讨了以下三个方面的问题:界定性指令和选择性指令对于词汇选择的指导意义;极大极小策略在短语翻译中的应用;错觉原理在长句翻译的应用。
　　通过比较分析可以看出吉里·列维的翻译理论在文学翻译中具有很强的实践指导意义。相比之下，突出了译者身份并强调了译者的主观能动性，即翻译是译者不断做选择的过程。同时，又说明了译者主观能动性的局限性。
