Multi-channel devices have begun to gradually extrude the elementary two-channel systems, because they allow the user to refrain from using any tracking or viewing-aid devices for the stereo-image visualization and demonstrate stereo-images for all viewers simultaneously. In this paper we shall demonstrate and discuss the different ways of encoding the information for producing a multichannel image. All variants presented in this paper were tested on three-dimensional autostereoscopic displays, which were manufactured by 4D-Vision. Using Mathematical ability we shall present the method of creating stereo-images with a large number of perspectives. The corresponding relations, allowing to calculate the multi-channel stereo-images, will be presented, also. At this time 4D-Vision manufactures 3D-displays using 8 channels or more. The latest experimental results have been achieved with the assistance of Mathematica by using more than three hundred 2D-images for the creation of one stereo-image.
