摘要

The konjac glucomannan (KGM) whose main chain is composed of beta-1,4 pyranoside bond linked mannose and glucose is the main reserve polysaccharide from tubers of amorphophallus konjac. As a health food, amorphophallus konjac is introduced to daily diet for many Japanese and Chinese families. Detailed chemical structure and solution properties of KGM were investigated. Recently, study of KGM on the application to chemical engineering, food industry, and medicine was attractive. In our previous works, some physical properties of the blend films of KGM-CS~5, KGM-SA, and KGM-NaCMC were studied. In this paper, the morphology alteration of these films before and after blend was studied by SEM.
