Challenges and Prospects of Functional Peptidomics

摘要

Peptidomic studies, i.e. total screening of biological samples for endogenous peptides holds considerable promise for discovery of new bioactive molecules end elucidating biochemical regulatory networks. However, as a relatively new branch of postgenomic research it presents a number of challenges, most of them yet to be resolved.
