(160)USING MULTIMEDIA TEACHING APPROACH TO ENHANCE THE LEARNING EFFECTIVENESS

摘要

In order to remove the drawbacks of traditional education, multimedia teaching approach was used soas to enhance the learning effectiveness. For the purpose of achieving the goal of meaningful learning,multimedia teaching approach was applied to engage students in active, constructive, intentional,authentic and cooperative learning. For promoting intentional learning by identifying important aspectsof the performance, students and teachers could work together to develop a rubric to gatherinformation about the learner's performance, and use the information as input for reflection on theperformance. After applying multimedia teaching approach including tailor-made interactive computeranimations and computerized simulation of real processes in my two taught subjects, all my studentsindicated that they understood the know-how, know-what and know-why of all the real processes.Majority of students performed very well in both coursework and the examination. No fail grade wasfound in either coursework or examination.
