摘要

This text has its origin in the teaching experience and in the skills to be developed in Hispano-MuslimPhilosophy, which is an optional subject taught at the University of Granada in the second year of thePhilosophy degree course. The objective of my involvement as a guide is to reflect on some aspectsof the role of university education in increasingly complex multicultural societies. This refers to whatand how the teaching of Islamic philosophy and Islamic thought in general can contribute to interfaithdialogue and dialogue between cultures, which is also one of the challenges of the 21st century. Alsohow innovation can be promoted as a value, but with a primary, more urgent meaning.
