(830) PECULIARITIES OF THE LINGUISTIC PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE FORMATION OF A FUTURE GUIDE-INTERPRETER

In this article the formation of the future guide-interpreter’s linguistic professional competence is considered as the pedagogically conditioned and controlled process. The article presents the interpretation of the linguistic professional competence as a complex phenomenon. The quality of its development is determined by a number of factors including the language abilities of students; the level of their motivation to learn a foreign language; the contents of the tasks aimed at the formation of the linguistic professional competence; forms, methods and means of formation of this type of competence; the nature of diagnostic procedures aimed at the determination of the level of linguistic professional competence. Thus, the given article substantiates the effectiveness of the formation of the future guide-interpreter’s linguistic professional competence from the point of view of the competent use by future specialists of lexical, grammatical and stylistic norms of a foreign language (in this case English) taking into consideration the professional situation for productive interaction with foreign tourists.
