Car industry is the pillow industry in China, while Human Resource in the industry has long been the lack for the development, and foreign companies dominate most of the companies. The research investigates the present situation of the human resource management (HRM) in Beijing’s car companies. The questionnaires are used to explore the HRM situation,and 400 people were interviewed from different car companies. The results indicate that the brain drain is one of the most serious issues in China’s car companies, and the demand for staffs is much more than supply, which requires all levels of human resources. Besides, the qualification and the structure are needed to improve. It is concluded that China needs to develop, manage and exploit human resources properly in order to develop China’s own car industry independently and increase the competition strength.
