Structural Investigation of the Gearbox with Epicyclical Gear System by FEM

Gears are one of the most critical components in mechanical power transmission systems. Epicyclical gear train take a very significant place among the gear transmissions which are used in many branches of industry such as automobile, aerospace, machine tools and wind turbines. This paper, present the structural analysis by the finite element method of the gearbox with an epicyclical gear system. This analysis was according to the variation of operating mode or the type of epicyclical gear train, it gives us a vision on the concentrations of stress. This investigation will play a very important role in the correct functioning of the power transmission system. In addition, it gives us an idea about the vibration of the gearbox and the compound that causes more noise. The design procedure has been detailed in the rest of the paper under the CAO software and the result of the numerical simulation has been evaluated by using ANSYS 16.0 software.
