Dentures can be used as replacements for missing teeth. Using dentures can comparatively reduce gum problems and infections, chances of gaping teeth and erosion of gum. The aim of this project is to design and construct a 3D model of the patient-specific denture with magnetic implants with the help of MIMICS and SOLIDWORKS tools and to analyze the force bearing capability of the designed model in FEA. Materials required for this work are patient CT scans and software such as MIMICS, SOLIDWORKS, and ANSYS for finite element analysis. The segmentation and the construction of a 3D model were done in MIMICS. The designing of the implant, the denture, and assembly of the parts was done in SOLIDWORKS. Finite element analysis was done with the help of ANSYS software. The obtained results from the study showed the maximum possible displacement for a particular force applied and was compared with control.
