The device has an iso-surface creation section creating a field iso-surface from an analysis result of a mesh model. A detailed mesh model creation section uses the created field iso-surface to create a detailed mesh model of a part of the mesh model. An analysis section uses the analysis result of the mesh model to perform analysis of the created detailed mesh model. An analysis evaluation section evaluates the analysis result of the detailed mesh model. The analysis section acquires a boundary value of the detailed mesh model and uses the value to analyze the detailed mesh model. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a structural analysis method (2) a structural analysis program permitting a computer to execute a structural analysis method.
