E-Learning through Interactive Visualization of Concepts

The Information Technology revolution has served to significantly alter learning modelsrnand paradigms. The Internet has heralded the influx of exciting new technologies andrnmodels of learning. E-learning in particular has become the buzzword. The majorrndisadvantage of e-learning is the lack of student-teacher interaction. Understanding ofrnconcepts becomes difficult with static text and images as contents for e-LearningrnThis paper presents mechanisms to make e-learning more interactive for the learner byrnusing the inherent features of computer technology. The paper also proposes a frameworkrnfor content generation for e-learning. Two interactive visual tools that were developed forrna specific domain have been demonstrated.
