To provide a device and method for visualizing individual difference in concepts of words used by users.SOLUTION: A word concept visualization device 1 includes a word feature quantity expression generation unit 3 which generates a first word feature quantity expression indicating a feature of a word concept represented by each user, and generates a second word feature quantity expression indicating a feature of a standard word concept of total of users; a correlation analysis unit 4 which examines presence or absence of significant correlation between the first word feature quantity expression and the second word feature quantity expression generated by the word feature quantity expression generation unit 3, and generates a third word feature quantity expression considered to have a significant correlation on the basis of the first word feature quantity expression; a distance calculation unit 5 which calculates a distance between a word feature quantity vector constituting the third word feature quantity expression and a word feature quantity vector constituting the first word feature quantity expression for each word; and a display unit 7 which displays the distance calculated by the distance calculation unit 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
