摘要

Our teaching object for the students is to bring up our students as software engineers such as programmers, system engineers, heavy application software users and digital image creators. As computers are used for producing or manufacturing mechanical products, it is necessary for the students who learn in the department of information engineering to understand and re-construct accurately the image of the shape of 3-dimensional products. In addition, it may be more important for the students to have the ability of sense of space recognition. In order to obtain the ability of sense, we set the curriculum such as "Image science", "CAD" and "Computer Graphics" in the department of information engineering. All these classes are setup with systematic curriculum. Moreover, in "Special exercise" which is held in the senior grade, some teachers set their seminars' theme as CAD/CG education or constructing CAD system. In this paper, we report the CAD education held in 2002 in the department of Information Engineering, College of Industrial Technology with the evaluation system of the classes by the students.
