The present invention pertains to a contrast composition for diagnosing astrocytosis, detecting reactive astrocytes, and acquiring images of lesion margins. The present invention provides image information on various diseases accompanied by excessive proliferation or activation of astrocytes, and in particular, indicates the exact location of dense areas of these cells, thus providing highly reliable information about the boundary between a lesion area and the surrounding normal area. Accordingly, the present invention can be advantageously used in diagnostic imaging for guiding, in real time, the surgical resection of brain tumors, etc.
