The present invention relates to a contrast agent composition for diagnosing astrocytosis, detecting reactive astrocytes, and obtaining images for lesion margins. The present invention presents a precise location of a dense area of cells for various diseases accompanied by excessive proliferation or activation of astrocytes and provides reliable information on the margins between the lesion area and the surrounding normal area, and therefore can be efficiently utilized as a diagnostic image for image-guided surgery in surgical resection of brain tumors and the like. In addition, the present invention shows, with high temporal resolution, the process of changing the margins and the area of the lesion area as well as the simple existence of a disease at the time of examination, and on the basis of the result, the present invention can be efficiently utilized for early detection of tumor recurrence or metastasis in the future, and further evaluation of therapeutic responsiveness to a specific drug.
