Rotary apparatus.- In a sewage-distributor of the type in which a trough is mechanically moved over the filter bed, the trough is fitted with a number of side trays E, Figs. 2 and 3, having weir notches c. These trays are attached by means of pins e1 passing through elongated holes so that the trays can oe aajusted. The trays have longitudinal corrugations, with perforations formed by pressing down V-shaped tongues of metal. The outer edge of the tray is preferably formed with a downwardly-turned serrated edge. The weir notch may be formed by a separate plate adjustably bolted to the tray.
