[Class 77.] In a swimming appliance as described and claimed in the parent Specification, the thrust plate f is attached rigidly to the glove a, and maintained at an angle less than 180‹ to the palm of the hand. The plate f is connected to the glove directly or through the medium of a separate fastening strip e. In the latter case the strip and plate have upturned flanges which are riveted together, a wedge-shaped packing piece between them determining the angle between the plate and strip.
