Compositions comprise (A) a vinyl chloride polymer,(B) one or more copolymers of at least two of the following monomers: a polyene, a vinyl aromatic compound and one or more carboxy functional derivatives of an ethylenically unsaturated acid, (C) at least one salt of a fatty acid, (D) at least one carboxy functional derivative of an ethylenically unsaturated amino acid, and (E) one or more epoxidized esters of a fatty acid and a polyol and/or one or more ethoxyline resins. (A) may be polyvinyl chloride or a copolymer of vinyl chloride with esters of crotonic, fumaric, maleic, itaconic, citraconic or phthaic acid esters of alcohols containing 7 to 14 carbon atoms, e.g. octyl alcohol; (B) may be a styrene/butadiene/alkyl acrylate or styrene/butadiene/acrylonitrile terpolymer; (C) may be a calcium salt, e.g. calcium stearate; (D) may be an ester of aminocrotonic acid with an alcohol containing 1 to 18 carbon atoms; and (E) may be epoxidized triglycerides, e.g. epoxidized soya bean oil, epoxidized castor oil or epoxidized sunflower seed oil, or a condensate of epichlorhydrin with a diphenol compound. The compositions may also contain lubricants, antioxidants and dyestuffs. The compositions may be formed into shaped articles, particularly bottles by blow moulding. An example describes a composition comprising polyvinyl chloride, a copolymer of vinyl chloride and octyl fumarate, an elastomeric copolymer of butadiene, styrene and methyl acrylate, a mixture of C1- 18 alkyl aminocrotonates, calcium stearate, a condensate of a diphenol and epichlorhydrin, a glycerol triester and di-t-butyl-hydroxytoluene.
