The pear-shaped housing of the switch affords actuation by radial pressure of the fingers. The switch has a hollow element (1) with a switching mechanism (M) engageable by an actuator (B) alternately in an ON and OFF position. The switching mechanism is connectable to two terminals (a, b). The hollow element is surrounded by a rotational surface (A) which contains a drive member for the actuaror. - The drive member i s compressible by two fingers orthogonally to its axis of symmetry, (R). Pref. the hollow element is in the form of a rotational body with elastic walls and surrounded by an annular bead (3), forming the rotation surface. Radial arms (4) may protrude from the side wall of the element inwards to affect the actuator.
