Title prod. comprises association prods. of (a) liq. aliphatic polyamines with 3-5 amine H atoms, (b) liq. aliphatic prim. monoamines and (c) liq. alkylphenols, in which w.r.t. amine H, 0.3-3 equiv. monoamine per equiv. polyamine, and 0.25-1 equiv. alkylphenol per equiv. total N are used, and up to 30 equiv.%., pref. 10-25 equiv.%., of the amine H of all amines in the prod. are adducted with a corresp. amt. of epoxy resin to form an improved hardening agent. The hardening agent can be used in combination with epoxy resins as encapsulating compsns. for cable connections and electrical components, as coatings and jointing compsns, with addn. of fillers and additives.
