Book dust jacket is made up from four corner elements (A,B,C,D). Each element is made from a sheet of paper, cardboard or plastic in which a corner pocket is fromed by folding over a flap and sticking the outer edges together. The elements are fitted over the corners of the book cover and the amout of overlap (X) and (Y) is adjusted to suit the size of the book. The overlapping areas are then stuck together to form a single piece dust jacket. In this way dust jackets for a wide range of book sizes can be made from a single size of corner piece.
