PURPOSE:To make the abrasion of an inner liner in a coke bucket uniform, by rotating the direction of the coke bucket placed on a car on rails by a coke bucket rotating apparatus at a given interval of time. CONSTITUTION:An incoming line is connected beyond a dry extinguishing apparatus 8, and a car 6 is run to the front of a coke bucket rotating apparatus 9. A coke bucket 7 on the car 6 is then taken out, and the direction of the coke bucket 7 is turned on a turntable 180 degrees. The side wall surface of the coke bucket 7 at a position on the coke oven side 1 in running on rails 5 is changed and then returned to the car 6. The car 6 is then moved to an oven chamber to receive the predetermined delivery of red-hot coke in the coke bucket 7 at a given number of times, and the direction is changed by the rotating apparatus 9 to change the side of the coke bucket 7 and make the abrasion of the inner liner in the bucket 7 uniform.
