PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collection method and device for coke dry quenching equipment which can stably collect a large amount of dust generated when red-hot coke is charged.SOLUTION: A dust collection method for coke dry quenching equipment, which collects dust, generated when red-hot coke is charged, together with exhaust gas in the coke dry quenching equipment for quenching the red-hot coke, comprises: a dust collection hood arranged at a charging port of the red-hot coke; a dust collection duct connected to the dust collection hood; a dust filter part arranged on the downstream side of the dust collection duct in a dust collection direction; and a water spray nozzle for spraying water mist into the dust collection duct. When the red-hot coke is charged, the water mist is sprayed into the dust collection duct to adjust the temperature of the exhaust gas to be higher than the dew-point temperature at the dust filter part and lower than the self-ignition temperature of combustible gas contained in the exhaust gas.SELECTED DRAWING: None
