The ventilation valve has two parallel side walls, and a distance from the side walls are two control sections. Between each side wall and corresp. control section is a seal strip. The valve has a base part (1) and upwards and downwards pointing rim parts (2, 3) providing interlocking with adjacent rim parts. The base further has a reinforcing profile (4) providing space for insertion of an insulating material . Each end part of base has a side wall (5) and some distance from this, a control section (6) with connection for valve movement. A seal strip (7) engages in the closed valve position into an adjoining base section.
