A pipe bracket made of plastic material rests on a base with a cross slot in which an insert has been placed to act as the support for the head or shoulder for a fixing element. The bore above the insert has been designed larger than the bore of the insert and at least as big as the largest intended fixing element head. ADVANTAGE - This permits the use of round, countersunk, cheesehead or hexagonal head fasteners or of impact dowels without damage to the base or bore.
