Signals from wheel revolution counters (1) are applied to a computerised control unit (2) which operates on modulators (5) of the pressure applied to wheel brake cylinders (11) from the brake pedal (4) and a hydraulic pump (9). The computer develops values of system speed (Vs), target speed (VT) and estimated road speed (Vv). The target value is modified when the corresp. system speed differs appreciably from the max. measured wheel speed (VwH) at commencement of braking. ADVANTAGE - Prevents inadequency of hydraulic braking pressure due to lower speed of inside wheel at instant of braking.
