The method involves controlling a driving speed driven rear wheel (7) and controlling a speed of a front wheel (3) by braking intervention. The speed of the front wheel lies below the driving speed. A steering angle of another front wheel (5) of a motor vehicle (1) is influenced and an axis of rotation of the latter front wheel is aligned on an instantaneous center (11) of the motor vehicle. A drive slip of the rear wheel is adjusted by controlling the drive speed. An independent claim is included for a motor vehicle with a driver assistance system and a software provided for the execution of a controlling method.
