Rear steering wheel`s lock controlling method for motor vehicle, involves producing lock set point value of rear wheel based on front wheel locking angle, vehicle speed, and previous lock value, to asymptotically reject perturbations
The method involves estimating perturbations undergone by a vehicle (1). An actual set point value of steering lock of a rear wheel is produced according to a front wheel locking angle, longitudinal speed of the vehicle, and a previous set point value of steering lock of the rear wheel, to asymptotically reject the perturbations during releasing of an anti-lock brake system or a control system. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle having a control unit.
