PURPOSE:To measure enzyme activity simply, rapidly and precisely by bringing a target enzyme whose activity is to be measured into contact with an enzyme activity measuring membrane prepared by immobilizing a substrate to be recognized by an enzyme to a porous membrane and detecting a formed decomposition product of the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A bond group is introduced to a porous membrane such as polyvinylidene fluoride, then a substrate to be recognized by an enzyme is reacted with the membrane and immobilized to give a substrate immobilized membrane. Then the membrane is laid in a filter holder to give an immobilized cassette, which is integrated into high-performance liquid chromatography device, an enzyme whose activity is to be measured is injected into the device, deformed and formed decomposition product of substrate is detected to measure the enzyme activity.
