PURPOSE:To prevent a lead from being cut by stress or the like. CONSTITUTION:An aperture 12 for mounting an IC chip is formed in a base film 10, and inner leads 14a protrude in the aperture part 12. A reinforcing part 16 is formed in the central part of the aperture 12. The reinforcing part 16 and the peripheral part of the aperture 12 are linked by using linking parts 18. The linking parts 18 link four corners of the aperture 12 with the reinforcing part 16. An aperture 20 is formed at the center of the reinforcing cart 16, in order to be able to see a connected IC chip 24. The reinforcing part 16 and the linking part 18 are constituted of the same structure as a carrier tape, or only the base film or only a metal foil.
